Anger & Rage
- July 31st, 2025
This week for #ThinkingThursday I’ll vulnerably share how I’ve been processing RAGE
Can you relate??
As a child I was conditioned that good little girls didn’t get angry. Be quiet, stay still, do what you’re told; don’t question it. I complied.
Then for a long time, positive psychology had me believing that anger was negative
If I was angry then bad things would happen, and I would bring it on myself.. sound familiar?
I’ve come to accept there’s an element of truth to this! When I feel stressed or scared, I can be sharp of mind and tongue, even unintentionally which I can see is an overprotective function
Anger was already embodied within me, from personal trauma of boundaries being crossed, of emotional needs not being met; which is its purpose In our nervous system
Rage feels like intense anger, beyond irritation
Rage at institutions, at groups, at individuals, at injustice; at those who either consciously seek to harm others, or unconsciously project their trauma, which perpetuates the cycle
I’ve learned anger is a valid emotion, though directing it at others is counterintuitive — I believe karma works, in this lifetime or the next
It’s healthy to feel anger. It’s NOT healthy to project it at others, even if we judge them as deserving of it
It’s healthy to disagree, it’s NOT healthy to be disagreeable

Really and truly, I am learning to take accountability and change the only thing I can.. myself
My own somatic healing, habits, self-expression, efforts in solidarity with those suffering injustice
I’ve come to understand that suppressing our darker emotions like fear, grief, shame, and rage, only makes us sick. There is no ‘away’, in our body
We each need to learn how to metabolize, express, and integrate these emotions, to make space for more love, gratitude, peace & joy
There’s truth to the proverb, we attract more bees with honey than vinegar
How is this resonating?
Part of #TheLoveYourVibeTransformation 6-Month Group Mentorship Program is learning and practicing #EmotionalIntelligence
I’m so grateful that when I shared my anger with Elvira V. Hopper & Jennifer Hawkins, they accepted & supported me
New groups are beginning soon with our #MiracleMindsetMentors in service for you to feel Safer, Seen, Celebrated & Supported, learn & practice #EmotionalIntelligence with other teachings & tools to Feel, Heal & Reveal who you truly are
Wishing you much empathy & abundance on your healing journey
