Greetings folks this #ThinkingThursday, another vulnerable poem to share, which I hope serves your transformation as it does mine

“In the crucible of spiritual alchemy
two forces speak.

One is smoke—
doubt, shame, fear,
echoes of: be seen, not heard,
worth learned through doing,
love rationed through care.

Grief hollows me—
carving space
where certainty once lived.

Loneliness burns.
So I escape—
into motion, into others, into mind,
into anywhere but the fire.

The other is flame—
hope, trust, love,
forged slowly
through years of becoming.

Confidence tempered.
Intuition sharpened.

The world fractures—
power-over looming,
perpetrator posturing.
Power-under cowering,
victim bracing.
Manipulation thickens the air.

And still—
roots push through.

Power-with.
Community forming.
Remembering how to let Earth hold us
and reciprocate.

I lean toward Creator
and am met.
Stillness gathers like water.
Gratitude blooms.
Reverence returns to my body.
A sense of safety.

Within and without
become mirrors—
reflecting possibility,
revealing what’s ready.

Wisdom distills.”
